Council of Research Deans
What is CORD?
CORD, the MSU Council of Research Deans, functions as a "think tank," providing analytical resources to the VPRGS. It not only researches and reports on issues raised by the Vice President, but it also brings matters of interest to his/her attention. CORD meets as needed, three-four times per month during the academic year, and less frequently during the summer. The group elects its own chairperson, who serves as the Council's main contact. A co-chair convenes meetings in the chairperson's absence.
